Family Day Activities in the Oakville Area
If you are looking for something to do on February 18, 2019, FAMILY DAY, then be sure to follow me every day this week as I post great activites to creat a Super Happy Family Fun Day for you and your family.
Residents of the Oakville community can spend the day with their loved ones doing fun activities indoor or outdoors. There are all sorts of events taking place on Monday, February 18, 2019 and I will have the info for you well before Family Day so that you can make your plans and perhaps even take in a couple of activities.
Bronte Provincial Park is a great place for some winter fun on a Family Day. How awesome is it for the residents of Oakville to live so close to all the beauty and nature that Bronte Creek has to offer. Go for a hike, pet and feed some animals at the Children's Farm or grab your tobaggan and slide down the hills. Kids can run, jump, climb and explore tunnels in the Childrens Playbarn. Head over to the Natural Centre where you will experience hands on displays of the natural world of the area. Finish the day by stopping by the gift shop for a treat!

The Town of Oakville offers swimming and skating to all ages. Choose from a variety of locations in the area. Some of the facilities offer both activities so you skate for a while then go for a swim. What a great way to spend to family time together.

Spiders are amazing creatures and you either love them or hate them but you still have to respect them. The Royal Botanical Gardens has a Spiders Alive exhibit going on this month along with other interesting events. Get out of the cold and into the warm environment at the Royal Botanical Gardens.
